The Australian Foundation for Diabetes Research is a not-for-profit health charity

The charity founded in 2001 in order to support researchers in developing a therapy that will allow the growing number of insulin-dependent Australians to cease having to inject insulin multiple times each day of their lives and to help educate the wider community about the development of therapies to overcome the need for insulin many young people with diabetes.
